2006 Mercruiser 3.0 Pump oil question?

hello, I have a 2006 Mercruiser 3.0 and I have a clear sees through bottle in front of carborator on top of engine that says pump oil on it,
I can't see in manual what kind of oil this takes. Anyone help me on this? Thanks.

That is your lower unit monitor bottle. It takes gear oil; the stuff you put in the out drive lower unit. As long as it's full, you know your out drive is full. :)
