1982 - 382STMRCNC is the engine in the boat.
How can I tell if I need a 982200 or 988217 Starter? Best I can tell is that the 988217 replaced the 982200?
This 3.8 L engine has 4.3 L exhaust manifolds. Is that going to work ok? Photos of starboard and port included.
On one of the minifolds the drain plug leaks. When I tighten it it still drips out of the bottom. Can I just plug it and remove when I winterize or need to drain?
I very much appreciate anyone's effort in helping with these needs.
