Hi guys i'm new to the forum and need help. I am looking at a 1973 mainstreamer trihull. A two owner boat that has been well taken care of. Current owner says it was manufactured in Tn. I've researched with no results. Just thought it would be beneficial to learn about the boat before purchase. Has anyone heard of this brand? Thanks!

Welcome, I wouldnt be that concerned with the make of the boat. The condition is most important. Looks on the outside may be deceiving, look for soft spots in the floor, and put your weight on the motor, and see if the transom flexes. Rotten wood is the problem with older boats of that vintage. How was the boat stored when not in use, if outside without a cover, there will be problems. Take someone that knows boats with you, and take it for a test run on the water.
