1989 a271 coil after market

Any one use after market coil,mallory,seirra? There web sites don't cross part numbers to well. Is there a mercruiser coil that will work? Part numbers would help a lot. I do not have points or a balist resistor.

I think Mallory has one that fits. I use a MSD coil.
