I have a 1983 SeaRay Seville with a 470 that often, after running for a couple of hours then sitting for 15 or 20 minutes, won't start back up. It turns over ok but won't fire. I've done tune up with new points plugs, etc. Didn't help. Changed spark plug wires and seemed to work for a few weeks. Now it's back. possibly coil or fuel filter?? It doesn't seems to be running hot. I've let it sit for as much as an hour without it startingn't seem to be flooding or vapor lock. Always starts right up the next day. Any clues? Hard to get a mechanic to diagnose becuase it takes too long or does not always happen.
