2001 Yamaha Vmax 175hp

Wondering if anyone knows what is the max rpm at WOT for this 2001 yamaha Vmax 175hp? My gauge shows that it is only going about 4500rpm at WOT. Seems kinda low to me for a two stroke.

Yes I looked at the manual but it doesnt say anything about the rpm. I believe it did run around 5500 before I replaced the remote control (throttle). A boat shop replaced the throttle for me. Maybe its some adjustment in the throttle control? But when I look at the lever at WOT in the engine it seems that it is adjusted to its maximum lenght.

are the throttle plates opening all the way when control is at WOT?
If not contact the shop and see if they will correct it
