Well i had my mind set on a Nordic rage or heat open bow boat but i cant find on thats not sold on the westcoast for under 40k

So my next idea was to find a simalar brand but i dont know what hull are good. i want a open hull midcabin with a 496 or bigger.

From my reading online the good ones are

Nordic
Donzi
Advantage
Magic
Citation

Any info would be great i dont want to buy a bad boat

Absolutely, absolutely love Nordic boats. I look for one in the neighborhood all the time, but you're right, they're all piled up on the west coast (they're made near Havasu).

Baja is probably the biggest performance brand; there are lots and lots of them out there, and they're nice boats. Baja hulls are notorious for having the hopsies though. I'd still buy one.
