I have a 66 Starcraft Holiday 18.5, 110-120HP (I have swapped out so many parts it is now hard to say what it is.) I am not getting over 2100 RPMs now but I know my throttle is not opening all the way, I have a 90lb pound kicker on the tail and usually a couple fishing buddies plus refreshments. I am getting about 23 mph tops now. I know I have to "lighten-up" and fix the throttle thing for a true sizing but I was wondering what you all are using on similar boats to get a starting point for props to try.

I have a 15" pitch on a 120 hp OMC stringer. It's pushing a 22' Islander converted into a center console and I get 28 on the gps. That was with me and a passenger, nothing else. I haven't checked it in "fishing" mode with 3 guys and 3 huge tackle boxes and a cooler.

Hey grzzzz, on my 72 SS18 with the 120 I run a 15&3/10 X 21 Solas for crusing about 4000 and 34mph, I also use a 15X19 at 4400 for pulling a tube and working at 28 mph, don't know if that will help you.
