Our AC unit at work went out on us, so we called and got a new one
Got the old one out and getting ready to put the new one in place. We pick it up and the hvac guy says to me you got it? Then I say nope put it down, I feel a pain inmy thumb and see the top edge in(yes in) my thumb.
Trying to set it down, is tears my other arm.. Tore me up a bit, Didn't want to drop a 2k piece of new equipment.
Pulled my thumb off of the cover and it gushes blood. Wrap it in a rag and we moved it a different way. Once it was in place I decided to have it looked at.
End result, pulled muscle in my forearm and bicep, abrasion/blood blister, cut on the full thumb pad with 4 stitches.
Photos here: don't click it you don't like pics like these.
They are not bad but still a small notice.
Just before I wrote this, I grabbed the remote and forgot about my thumb. If I was standing it would have brought me to my knees.
