Hi Everyone Newby here to this forum but any help would be appreciated.
I have a Magnum 150 with a defective tilt Trim Motor. I have pin pointed the problem to be the old sqaure tilt trim motor, which I have a replacement on order (Upgrading to the newer two wire system, and doing away with the old solenoids).
The Manual Release Valve on the tilt trim snapped off, So I drilled it out carefully with a tiny pilot hole and then a bigger and bigger drill bit. Not wanting to damage the threads i'd rather Tap them out to remove the final bits of plastic ready for the new Manual Release Valve to screw in. Does anyone know the thread size for this, I am under the impression it is a 1/2-13 UNC thread but before I attempt to Tap i'd rather someone confirmed it.
thanks any answers to this would be much appreciated.
