Trying to narrow it down. I have a 1976 200 (20hp) mercury running on 1 cylinder, the bottom one. It will start, idle, and run WOT, just on 1 cylinder. Cleaned the Carb. Carb rebuild kit with fuel pump and new needle. Ball fills bowl, gets hard and stops pushing gas. From some other threeads I read I have tired the following:
-swapping plugs - (still only bottom cylinder running.)
-moved bottom plug wire to top plug - (top cylinder would not fire.)
-swapped green wires between coils - (motor would not run at all.)
-swapped coils - (still only bottom cylinder running.)
-copmression is around 110 on top cylinder and 112 on bottom cylinder
-spark on both plugs
-spark from both plug wires to chasis with plugwire pulled from spark plug and screw driver stuck in boot. (spark looks about the same to me between both plug wires from what I can see.)

Any thoughts on what I need to move onto next?
(fyi, I am no mechanic everything I have done so far was because of reading other posts on these boards, with the help of the manual and a few youtube videos so even if it seams obvious to you please dont hesitate to ask if I missed something.)
Thanks, Ryan
