I am in search of a 1992 or 1993 Four winns freedom with a Johnson 90 or 115 hp. A family member used to own this boat when I was younger and I'd like to purchase it as my first boat. I've been looking for this boat for a while now and can't seem to find any.
After doing a lot of research I think Four winns made a pretty good boat overall but they did use a lot of wood components. Does anyone have any info on the likelihood of the floors/stringers rotting. I wouldn't mind rebuilding seat bases and the ski locker but having to redo the floors/stringers would be a pain. I seem to be set on this boat despite its draw backs. Thoughts?
