Looking for Humminbird 3D Wide View head unit only...

We have a Humminbird 3D Wide View that came with the boat. The screen is badly crazed, and no screen cleaners have worked. Does anyone have any magic solutions to getting the screen clear again? The unit seems to work ok. I know they are about 14 year old and service is no longer available. EDIT

Harbor Freight has a kit that includes two cloth polishing wheels and two grit bars. One to start with the deeper scratches, the second to finish it off. Worked surprising well on my cell phone screen. I started with 1500 sandpaper, then let the kit do it's thing. Somewhere between $10 and $20. CRS
