An inch of water

I have a 2005 Tahoe 215 OB that I recently purchased. I was on the lake over the weekend, and while anchored, the boat started taking on water. A lot of
Water. Fortunately, I was close to a docking area. After getting the boat trailered, I noticed there is a 1" rubber hose in the rear bilge compartment that is broken off the hull, letting water pour into the boat quickly. I'm hoping someone can tell me the purpose of this home, and the best way to replace the broken fitting through the hull. Thanks!

Do you have any pics, is the hose for a running water system for a sink, or a livewell maybe?

Re: An inch of water

It is the return drain for the forward live well. The thru-hull piece is a chrome plated plastic flange which broke, turning a drain line into a bilge-filling hassle. I'm not sure about a replacement fitting yet. Thanks
For all the help!
