Trying to eliminate a banging / loud chatter when softer braking. Per a different post, it was suggested I adjust the acutator spring - however, mine doesnt appear to have that.
Lines were bled about 2 months ago. I thought, before I go further into the hitch portion of the brakes, I'd make sure they were adjusted properly.
I did the "tighten the star wheel until can't turn wheel by hand" and then backed off 10 clicks. Doing this, I can spin wheel and it goes about 1/2 turn and I can hear that the shoes are seated on the drum - however, I was wondering if I should back off until I can spin a bit more??
Any recommendations on whether to stick with the 10 clicks or keep going a bit more??
