Found a solution to the sun baked gauges. I thought long and hard before doing this and I thought whats the worse that can happen.. I have to replace my gauges...
Anyway I live in AZ and the sun just bakes the whole boat and my gauges were shot. You could see but they had that white milky cracked/baked look..
While in Walmart I seen the Headlight restore from turtle wax for $8. $8 to try to fix my gauges was well worth the try.
So I did use the headlight restore and hell it worked to clear my gauges almost to 100% so if you have the milky looking gauges this will work.. I have a 1988 Sea Ray and the gauges lens are hard plastic..
This one is done.. Before you couldn't even see the numbers clearly
