Hello everyone,
Yesterday I was out on my trusty 12' with a Yamaha 5hp outboard that was bought new in 2002, serviced every year after use up to 2007 and has just recently been in the waters this year. No problems what so ever and ran quite smoothly. To my disappointment this morning, I attempted to start the motor and it would stall in neutral by slowly reving it up, and it would also stall under load by reving it up.
This issue, I assume, presented itself over night and I am not sure what could be wrong.
Any input or suggestions would be a big help. Thank you.
