mercruiser i/o power trim

i just checked my reservoir and it looks like tomato soup pink and milky. i pumped it out and put new in but the stuff i put in was clear. i used power trim and power steering is that right i'm new in boating

it had water in it. check again regularly to make sure water doesn't come back. if water does come back then rebuild hydraulics before rust sets in.

That was ATF...

That's a light oil (10W-30, sort of)

Errr, as long as you got ALL the old stuff out, yes.... You can use one OR the other, but you shouldn't be mixing them....

What you working on? engine/drive/years/serial numbers..... You know, the usual stuff we need to be able to help you....
