While cleaning the cowling under the powerhead I noticed an electrical connector that was not connected.
The two ends are just lying there under all the other wireing. Its not the tilt trim I found those and every thing on the motor works fine but I would like to know what these connectors are for.

Can someone help?

Wire colors and a picture may help.
Can you trace wires to where they end up?

Re: Yamaha 60TLRB Wireing question

Sorry I can't really trace the wires but I do have some colors.

The male connector has a black, pink and a gray

The female connector has a green and a green with a red stripe

Thank you

Re: Yamaha 60TLRB Wireing question

Is 60TLRB the full model #?
Is it oil injected?
The colors do not match up so do not hook them together.
best info I can find in a manual says B,P,Gr,O connector is trim sensor and G,G/R is oil level

This does not agree, but Look at this color code chart
