We may need a little more information. What exactly does it do when you turn the key?

Do you have spark, dose it want to start or dose it just crank. I would start by checking if it has spark, if not check your safety switch where your lanyard to the key goes. make sure it is in nutral. If you have spark then check your fuel pump then your carbs.
