So we bought a Chris Craft 230 Sport deck and everything was working fine. We stopped for a little while and when we started going again the boat wouldn't get about 25 mph. We pulled the boat out and I did a complete tune up because at times it was hard to start. The boat starts and runs on land great, idles great in the water, etc. But when I try to go it dogs down and still won't go above 25 mph. I also noticed that it started to become hard when turning to the right but it turns to the left just fine.

I can not figure out what could be causing this! I am not sure if the turning issue has anything to do with the power issue but I thought I would throw it out there. Could it be a slightly bent prop? We didnt notice if we hit anything and haven't noticed any excess vibrations. The only other thing I could think of is if the fuel pump is getting weak, but it starts and idles great.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think this is going to drive me nuts! Thank you.
