Running the old 25 hp Johnson yesterday at half speed and it quit. Not like outa fuel quit, like no sparky quit. Pulled the cover off, moved some wires around near the spark plugs and I found this little wire that goes through a rubber gromet into the power head. Movered that one a bit and the engine fired and we ran a bit then it quit again. Removed the cover and moved that wire again and the engine brought us home. What does that wire do and will it cause the engine to quit?
If not, any other ideas why it would just quit?
