Does anybody have the Napa part number or even a Sierra number for a lower unit seal kit for a 1958 Sportwin? Can't seem to keep the oil in the thing. I would like to get the kit rather than ordering the individual parts. How about the carb kit? Thanks!

Thanks, I will check into those numbers. Is there a good site that will list the right numbers? I have found plenty of part diagrams but they never say the numbers for a full kit just the individual pieces. Also, are there any kits that include the bushing for the shift rod and the bearing housing seal or should I be looking for those independantly?

If that motor has been run very much with water in the LU you may have problems that a seal kit won't help. Make sure that the driveshaft bushing is not worn and also the driveshaft at that point. I've traveled that road.
