Ok, I posted a thread yesterday in reference to my motor not wanting to start, gets a good spark, good fuel to plugs, and turns over strong, but no action. A gentleman replied to me about a "warm up" lever. This sparked my curiosity but I have not seen any other levers other then my throttle lever on the console. I've done some reading on other folks threads about pulling my throttle lever to the left, which will disengage the lower unit, so I can throttle up while in neutral. My question is, is this standard for this model of engine, and could that possibly be why it's not starting because it's not getting air to the cylindars? The only reason I'm asking, is because I am currently at work, and can't check to see if my boat has this feature. Yeah I know I know, playing while at work, all well. lol Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thank you

Your throttle linkage may need to be adjusted with the timing.

Post a pic of your control box if you can.

You are obviously trying to start it from cold which begs the question......how are you applying choke to it?
