lip grip scales

I am on the market for a lip grip with a scale for easy catch and release weighing


which is the best other than the extremely expensive boga grips

If you rule out Boga there is no best.

Considering what you have invested in your equipment, why would you want to scrimp on something like a Boga? You didn't scrimp on your boat, tackle, etc. You may well spend more on fuel for one trip than the cost of the best scale.

It is too like the guys who complain that they can't afford $60 for a factory Service Manual for their $20,000 outboards.

i just ended up buying one of these with a large plastic tub to go on top. i can zero the scale on the tub and get an exact weight on the fish by laying him inside the net. :D cost me 20 bucks on amazon with free shipping. so no need for a 250 dollar boga when i can get an even better measurement.

Good luck w/that. 30# Boga from Boga site $124. Knock offs on Ebay $30-$40.
