1992 evinrude spitfire dies

I had my 92 recently gone through and and now occassionally when you back out of it, it will just die and will not start. It will turn over but not fire. If you let is set it will then start up and run fine. Any ideas as to what would cause this?

Sounds like an ignition problem that shows up when the mtr is warm.
