i got this boat for free it has been in a warehouse covered for 7 years. the engine was winterized and witha couple carb kits and new throttle cables i got the motor running perfect.
the interior however was dated and i bad shape i am going to completely redo the interior however i have a few questions
once i remove the wood from the hull how to i secure the new plywood to the hull it self (screws adhesive ect)
after the wood is down do i have to coat it with somethign to waterproof before i lay carpet?
do i need to clean the old glue off the hull of the boat before i lay new carpet? if so what do i clean it with
and last but not least this boat had back to back seats that laid down for tannign i want to do away with those and put in swivel seats but when i removed the wood i discovered that they were full of foam. is that okay to remove or do i have to keep the same layout
Thanks for all your help!
