took the boat out last night for a test run after installing a new steering cable and shift controls, got it out on the water and was running ok for a min at low speed due to wake zone. didnt even get out of the wake and started dying and would stay running, then the one time we did get it running to head back in the motor started jerking wen in a higher speed and then started dying again. motor has had some issues and been working on it for the last couple months. bought it used and has sat for a while, first issue we had before these it wasnt picking up any speed and figured replacing the shift cables would help cuz it wasnt getting full throttle. so again we replaced shift cables and greased up the bearing and thought we were gonna get full power till the boated starting dying and jerking. any help would be great
