Hi, i have a 9r70c starts first pull runs good but rpm doesnt change alot in gear from tiller handle postion start to wide open just picks up some speed seems like it should go faster.motor is on a 14' alum.row boat.
It should go a lot faster at WOT than at start position. Check the throttle plate at WOT to see if it fully open. Maybe you need to do a linc and sync. Could also be the high speed circuit in your carb. is dirty. Best of luck. Rick.
