Apparently the motor was still running after the hit.
The transom and the hull are intact.
The two trim/tilt cylinders were the only thing holding the lower to the boat...
The boat will be back in the water tomorrow.

I open the engine bay and upon inspection I didn't find water in the gas but I did find this...

Actually I do quite a bit of mechanic work, the picture does not make it clear if you just placed that box there, what it is, if the box is grounded then it touched the + in the battery and it fried, ect....
Huh, I just killed the 90 Amp fuse on my starter, and my stereo's fuse when I did that. The lesson I learned is that you don't change a battery at the ramp when you have a boat full of bikini-clad coeds waiting on you to change the battery. End result was no bikinis on the boat that day.
