1978 470 murcruiser not starting

i have a 1978 470 murcruiser i/o and it dont get gas, there is gas in the line at the bulb but not in the bulb, is there a pump in the tank?? any ideas on what i could do to fix it

I/O`s dont use a outboard bulb, just the pump on the engine

have you made sure that there is fuel coming out of the fuel pump ?
If not then look for a blockage or a failed pump.

Obviously making sure that the fuel shut off is open.
