well i have had the powerhead for my motor rebuilt a few weeks ago. got it back and i was told that while i begin to put it all back together, that i should drop the lower and change the impeller for the water pump along with the gaskets. i was also told that i should put my powerhead on while the lower was down, shift the lower into gear so when i go to insert the drive shaft back in from underneath, i can spin the prop to move the drive shaft so the splines will aling on the inside of the crank shaft. well now the shift shaft where the shift cables attach to under the cowl just keeps spinning, it WILL NOT shift out of gear. it is in reverse i believe. when i try spinning the prop CW, it makes a clicking noise inside the prop shaft housing. any and all help would be great!! thanks
