I have a 2000 Mercury Tracker 50 ELPTO. Last night while connecting the battery (in the dark) I noticed a small spark when connecting the positive primary power cable. If I "reflashed" the cable quickly I did not notice the spark. If I waited several seconds and re-connected the cable I would see the spark again. Am I seeing the normal charging of a capacitor somewhere in the system or is this an indication of something more serious? I have not performed a "current draw" test as of yet.
