We have twin 2001 Optimax 225 on my fathers boat. The port motor smart tac indicates water in fuel. This is not the case, we have checked everything. It also misses on one cylinder at idle, we can hear that. At running speed of 4000 of so RPM the fuel consumption is at 18 to 19 gph and the port motor is normal at 12.6gph. We have had a Mercury tech look at it and he said he fixed it. The reason i am posting this is the condition still exist.
