She ran great !

I fitted a Faria water tem switch thats rated at 217 F US Resistance.
I then connected tot he guage that was green / red indicator - no temps witten on it.
After 10 mins on the muffs she for to the red but inly just in it. Should I worry ?

I have a faria chesapeake black going in next week with US resistance too. I wonder if the existing guage is Euro resistance...

I have dropped the idle from 1200 rpm to 800 rpm - too low ?

How does the old girl sound to you guys ?

The trim stopped working but I had had the hoses disconnected from the cylinders last week so probably need refilling.

Many thanks for opinions.

Will add video of the MC1 Leg next

Sounds good. Engine should not be ran with drive trimmed up so high. Damage to the ujoints and sideload/stress on input seal, carrier, and all.

Idle in forward gear 650-700 RPM. In the red at idle on muffs is probably not good. Need to find out the actual temperature you are running. When was the impeller changed last?

All good. Fitted us resistance guage and she sits under 175 happily on muffs.

Must have been the guage / sender combo.

Found another issue - only one trim cylinder works. Fluid through but it don't shift. One is doing the work of the other.
Any ideas or new thread time ?

Thanks again all

Ron
