mariner water drain clogged

I recently bought a 15hp mariner outboard.

The previous owner seems to have drilled a hole in the motor cap for the water drain hose to release water,

this is because the drain in the engine is clogged.

my question is, where is the other end of the drain? I would like to unclog this but blowing air or sticking a wire in didnt seem to do the trick. If I knew where the exit is I may have a better chance fixing the issue.

Please help me locate the end of the drain.

Anybody know where the engine water discharge is located? I still can't get this unclogged.

A year and serial # would help but if its a early Yamaha made it does not have a "P" indicator, thats why PO drilled a hole to make one.
