1994 30 hp evinrude dies

i have a 1994 30hp evinrude you can crank it and run 3/4 to full throttle for a few minutes then idle it down and cut off crank it up and it idles fine and then u give it full throttlesometimes it makes it to full rpms before it starts surgin again and it will surge like its starving for fuel and then it cuts off but will crank back up and go through the whole process again i have taken care of the strainer in the tank and replaced fuel line connectors and bulb with omc parts it still does it its driving me crazy also i have taken the cap off of tank and it still does it any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Lee

Have you tried pumping the primer bulb when this happens ??

it worked once before i replaced the items also could a mis adjusted low speed mixture screw cause this issue?

Sounds like you might have some crap floating around in the carb.

it was the brass connector on top of the tank and it was only a problem when motor was turning its max rpm replaced with a 5/16 90 deg elbow and hooked hose direct to fitting no problems now at all thanks for your help
