shift bracket 4.3 0k009133 exhaust manifold

changing from batwings to manifold and riser. seems like i saw a bracket somewhere, to mount the shift assembly on. can't reemember, ok i thinks it is a riser bracket, where can i find one. engine is 1997

If your Shift Bracket looks like This 1,.......<br /><br />It bolts Directly to the 3 cast bosses on the side of the Riser.........<br /><br />

thanks bondo, thats just what i need to know, the sent manifloids w/ 3" riser and i order 4"riser. so i installed manifold and waiting on 4" riser to be delivered. Change plugs while i was at it.

Who ever suggested using long studs helped greatly. i had some 1/4" round stock cut 2 12" pieces put them thru the end holes in manifold, give you just the leverage to make a hard job easy.

Ayuh,...... Those holes are tapped 3/8ths"X16.....<br />I've got a couple old pc.s of Redi-rod for that purpose.......
