changing gear oil

I have an older, not sure what year, 2 hp johnson and I want to change gear oil but I only found one screw to drain oil. Shouldn't there be another screw to vent out oil? Also, what is the spark plug gap for the 2 hp motor?

The older 2 hp engines had only one screw. Tilt down to drain, up to fill, and wait for air bubble to come out, then fill some more.
Spark plug gap is .030 inches.
