1966 Mer Kiekenhaefer 1100ss not sparking

Hello everyone. I have a 1966 Merc Kiekenhaefer 1100ss. It cranks, but it does not spark. It looks to be complete and original down to the throttle, choke, key, tach, original pull start, and gas can. The motor is in neutral and it has a brass prop in good condition. My boat is no longer lake worthy; I do not have time to fix it due to a surgery coming up, as well as a move into a small place. Basically, I was wondering if this combination would be needed by another boat lover. I know these things scream, and I do not want to put it in storage to sit and rot, when someone could use it. I am debating Ebay, just so it can go to another owner. Any thoughts are appreciated. If the combo is not worth the cost of motor repair, I may just give to a local boat repair shop.

Sorry for the bad news about your boat. But don't give it to a boat shop! If it comes down to giving it away look at one of the charities on ebay. My 2 cents.
