Ok so I have siphoned the old fuel out, put about 1/4 tank good fuel in, changed the oil/filter/plugs, the electronic ignition upgrade is in seemingly good condition, I have spark, it will fire off after pouring gas in the carb. I dont think I am getting fuel to the carb from the tank though. I have pulled the fuel and water seperator, it smells as though there is some gas, but it is not by any means saturated in there.. should it be? do I have to prime the fuel pump or something? Sorry if these are stupid questions as I admit, I am generally an idiot when it comes to this stuff, but I am learning, Please help.

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,... Please read the forum rules,... Don't be postin' yer phone #, or email...

You have to start at the Tank, 'n work yer way to the carb,...
It could be a plugged tank fitting, or bad line, or bad fuel pump, or bad, Whatever..

The fuel filter should be Full...

You didn't say but ALL filters should be replaced and clean gas pumped through the line to the carb. Beyond that consider that the carb may be dirty because of the bad gas it had in it.
