I'm Thinking about buying a boat with Volvo Penta D6 Engines. What do you think about the engines, as far as reliability, service, parts availability/pricing, etc.? Any information will be appreciated.
I am a certified volvo tech here in texas we work on tugboats and crewboats and industrial applications volvo is a good engine have great service life and one of the best choices fuel consumption wise only downfall im aware of is alot of parts are hard to find but if u can get you a good dealer to work with its a different story ive seen quite a few bigger volvos with over 25000 hrs on the meterhope that helped know im a little late
