swap 4.3 vortec into 4.3 non vortec?

i have a 88 statecraft with a 4.3 mercruiser that spun a bearing. i found a95 vortec mercruiser v6 long
block. will I be able to swap it directly or do i have to change parts

Ayuh,... There's some changes, but not too bad....

The later motor has the balance shaft, 'n no fuel pump lobe...
Timing cover is different, 'n it'll need an electric fuel pump...

will my old distributor work and aside from needing electric fuel pump what else needs to be changed thanks
