I am trying to be cautious before heading in the wrong direction. I am trying to see what kind of tie in there is to brace the transom and tie it to the bottom of the hull. There are "frame rails" in the hull but I feel there should be knee bracing. I have photos in my other thread that illustrate what I mean.
