I purchased a 2000 Bayliner 1950 with a Alpha one 3.? in it, I was giving it a flush with the earmuffs and noticed that there was no water coming out of the Prop area and that the water coming out of the "leg" was a bit warmer than usual. I looked at the thermostat but it was keeping steady at about mid range.
Is this something I need to worry about or is it something I need to have check?

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,... Sounds 'bout normal to me,...

The path of least Resistance is sometimes the idle relief ports on the transom...

Though, burnt up shutters sometimes can cause a blockage,...
If yer that concerned, pull the drive, 'n look up through the exhaust passage...

Impeller been changed lately?

Pardon the ignorance, the impeler is the rubber, plastic, fan blades looking thing inside the lower unit? If so then yes it was changed with service in March of this year.
