I have a 1987 Johnson 200hp ss# J200TXCUC. I bought the boat about a year ago and i have have the power pack replaced and other maintance done. I was our finshing and 1 of the carbs was loading up so i pop the top and pulled the silencer off see card dumping fuel, pulled the card and the float needle was stuck, after i had replaced the the carb i did not put the silencer back on and ran the boat back to the boat ramp, the boat ran like a raped ape, i know by not putting the silener back on leaned out the motor.

the motor does run ok but i know it could be better, the boat has never run as good as it did without the silenceer. i had done some reading and i see the the carb jet for the 200 has 3 different jets combos that can be used.

I have a 1987 - 200, J200TXCUC
200 TX ONLY - jets 43-26-57D
225 - jets 14-48-62D this is the jets that i have.... i would go by the jets for the 200 TX but it is 200.00, if i could justify this will lean out the motor the right way i have no problem in buying them today.

thank you
