I have a 1990 OMC 2.3L Forester that the linkage that connects the carburetor control lever to the cable assembly is broken but I cannot find anyone with a replacement part. Does any one have any suggestions? The part is mad of 3 pieces. Two plastic ball loops that compress fit on the throttle linkage at the carburetor and one for the cable for the throttle control linkage. They are held together by a small threaded shaft measuring about 2 inches long. The manual I have does not even describe these parts for the throttle linkage. :)

For now a hose clip will hold the split piece together. Also a trip to breakers to look for the ends of gas struts on tailgate's would give you a more permanent repair.
