I have a 40hp Mariner 2 stroke s/n 0g269674 I took it out last week and it ran fine but yesterday I found a pool of gas under the motor. I pulled the cover off to find that the carbs have a small drip of fuel leaking from them. Cannot find exactly where the leak is or if the top carb is leaking on the lower making it look like both are leaking. Has anybody had this problem and if so what was the fix?

Be sure you check the float bowls for holes by holding them up to light or sun.
