1989 Evinrude - oil leak

I ran my 25 hp motor on muffs for a few minutes yesterday, and today I found a fresh oil stain on the ground below the motor. I've had the motor for a year and never noticed this before. I traced it to this little hole (drain hole, I guess) pictured here - the top one. Is this normal? It wasn't a lot of oil - about half a thimbleful or so.

Looks like unburned 2 stroke oil which is normal; in the lake you probably would not have noticed it.
