I am curious on what the hull is like on a 1996 20.5 fourwinns sundowner boat? I am not a boat expert by any means so I'm looking for some help on this. Would this boat have a double hull? Or what can you tell me about the boat and the hull itself?

I thank you in advance for any info.

Regards.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... Nope, it won't be double hulled...

That's saved for Oil Tankers, 'n I hear, Cruise Ships in the near future...

It's a composite cast fiberglass hull, like most all other fiberglass boats...

Though, No doubt done on a much Better lay-up schedule than most standard production hulls...

Fourwinns are known as a Quality, Well built product...

Being a Four Winns owner I have to agree with Bond-o on the quality of the hull......the glassing of the stringers....not so much :( plenty of pics in my resto thread if you want to see whats below the deck ;) I do love the boat tho! handles real well in the ocean and takes the waves like a champ!

... what you will have (to help avoid confusion as you say you're rather new) is a space between the floor/sole and the hull.
